We cannot recommend John and his entire team enough. They were so incredible and flexible with the awful weather they needed to work in while prepping the food. His team was so friendly and helped to calm some of my nerves before walking down the aisle, as they were inside the reception hall prepping for dinner. The food was on time and everything was delicious. Even my super Italian Aunt, who is a phenomenal cook, asked for his contact information because she was so blown away by how delicious everything was. And I’m so happy because we had leftovers that John and the team packed up for us to take home! We got so many compliments about the food and people appreciated the dietary modifications that John was able to make!

My company hired John and his team for an employee appreciation event for 250 people in August. Leading up to the date of the event, John was easy to work with, responsive, and his prices can't be beat. On the day of the event, we were facing severe thunderstorms and a tornado warning. However, John and his team arrived just as the skies cleared, quickly got their equipment set up and immediately began cooking. Other staff set up the buffet tables and lines inside ensuring we'd have smooth sailing when the employees arrived and not end up with a huge bottleneck for food. Everything went GREAT! Lines moved super quickly, food was hot and delicious, and there were options for all of our eaters with special dietary restrictions and allergies. We ended up with a good amount of leftovers, which employees were thrilled to pack up and bring home to share with their families. Great food, professional service, fantastic execution - incredible value. Highly recommend John and the Tailgate Gourmet team for any event!

Planning a wedding can be exhausting, so many details to remember. My fiancé and I were connected with John through a wedding planning app. I was a little apprehensive about booking a tasting, but I was totally blown away! 

From the moment we connected via email, I felt like John understood how difficult choosing a vendor was and explained his process in great detail. When we finally met in person for the tasting event, John was warm, welcoming, and professional. The kitchen was setup as a perfect dining area complete with a toast to start the evening. 

Each of the 9 food items we tasted were absolutely amazing! His attention to detail and presentation was spot on for what we were looking for. He has several options to help with guest with dietary restrictions and explained the ingredients of each time. His kitchen is clean and from preparation to serving, he and his team makes sure the food isn't sitting in a warmer for a long time. 

He didn't stop at catering, he reminded us of other small details to remember when planning our vendors and overall flow of our wedding day. 

We met with one caterer and decided we didn't need to look any further! Thank to John and his team for making this part of the process stress free.
